Our Specialist High Speed, Shallow Drafted Boat
Bay Surveyor, is a purpose-built aluminium, shallow drafted boat. A modified ‘Robust 21C’ with a forward cabin and controls. Built originally by us for Surveying work in the Bristol Channel for the Hinkley Point C project. However, this did not materialise, although we have carried out many different tasks with her. We, now use her mainly for guided fishing trips (3 persons) along the shore and offshore wrecks, using Lures and Plugs.
Fitted with a Honda 150Hp engine she is not sluggish, with a max, our speed is in excess of 30 Knots. But, rest assured, this doesn’t happen very often, we are more sedate these days and cost-conscious. Speed means £££s..
